In Good Season - February 2011

Winter is a great time of year for local, seasonal food!

Fruits

Regular Lemons

Apples (from storage, very few varieties are still crisp, firm and tasty)

~Any apple that you can press the skin and feel it give. That's a sure sign of graininess from storing too long. It is very hard to find good, local apples in February.
